Milestones 2021-23
Praghna observed its 2nd Anniversary on 07 June 2023. A brief report on Praghna's activities is below:
Praghna Centre for Research was founded on 07 June 2021. The sole objective of this humble endeavor is to promote scientific thinking among students and guide them for undertaking meaningful research in social sciences. In this two years, Praghna's humble efforts have resulted in some tangible outcomes. A brief on the activities undertaken is below.
To mark the occasion, two research prizes have been announced. V Rajamanickam Prize for best paper in political science/history and Smt. Kalavathy Rajamanickam Prize for best paper on society/culture/philosophy. Each of these prizes carry a cash award of INR 2000, a certificate and publication in EJSSS. Both the prizes have been named after parents of the founding director, Dr. R Srinivasan.

1. 08 workshops and talks for think tanks, universities and departments for over 150 students/interns

2. In conjunction with Defence Research and Studies (DRaS) in which 25 students have participated. 11 research papers and articles have been written and published by our interns

3. MoUs with Chennai Centre for China Studies (C3S), DRaS, MAHE and Madras University for research writing programs
Electronic Journal of Social and Strategic Studies
4. The journal (ISSN online: 2582-9645) is the first initiative. As on date, we have 09 regular Issues and 04 Special Issues carrying 100 research papers. The online journal is available at www.ejsss.net.in

5. Student Research Anthology, Vol 1/Issue 1, published in Aug 2022. It contains 08 research papers/article and 01 book review written by our interns
