Electronic Journal of Social and Strategic Studies (EJSSS): This online research journal was launched with the sole purpose of promoting scholarly research in social and strategic studies. It is an Open Access, peer reviewed journal especially keen to promote emerging scholarship. EJSSS went online in August 2020 as a not-for-profit initiative, supported entirely by the Founder-Director of Praghna. The Editorial Board consists of accomplished professors from India and abroad.

We have three regular Issues, two thematic Special Issues (Emerging India from Maritime Perspective; Examining Borders through History, Culture and Security and Citizenship and Globalization) online with 45 research papers and 09 articles and book reviews contributed by eminent scholars from India, Ghana, Austria, Greece, South Africa and USA. Researchers from IDSA, National Maritime Foundation, JNU, etc have also contributed papers.

One of the primary objectives of EJSSS is to serve as a catalyst for scholarly understanding and research. Towards this, we have organized over eight webinars in these ten months on themes like World Maritime Day, National Maritime Day (Pondicherry Univ.), Changing Dynamics of International Order & India's Foreign Policy Choices, Challenges and Options (BITS Pilani), Public Health: Policy, Law and Rights Perspective (VIT-AP), 50 Years since 1971 War: Diplomacy, Strategy and Socio-economic Perspectives (Madras Univ.). etc.

All these webinars were open to young PG students, research scholars and academia with a heart warming attendance. We have had distinguished speakers like Amb Sudhir Devere, Amb Anil Trigunayat, Amb Fabian, Amb TCA Raghavan, Amb Viswanathan, Amb Tomasz Lukaszuk, Lt Gen Lamba (IPCS), Vice Admiral Pradeep Chauhan (NMF) and eminent scholars like Prof Riger Liu (Flame Univ), Prof Indira (Shangai Univ) and quite a few young scholars presenting their papers. Dr Sumit Seth, Director Policy Planning, MEA, also spoke about the organisational structure for evolving foreign policy during the BITS Pilani webinar.
